We are very excited to announce the second annual fundraiser for the Pediatric Centre for Weight and Health (PCWH). The PCWH was established in 2005 in response to major health issues facing overweight children and their families in the Edmonton area.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help the PCWH purchase program-specific equipment such as oxygen & blood pressure monitors, scales with handrails (to assist disabled and larger kids) as well as education models, recipe analyzer software and exercise games.

This year we are hosting five event events Kickoff/Orientation, Triathlon, “Unknown Challenge”, Indoor Wall Climbing and wrap-up “Supper in Your Sweats”. These five events take place from late April to early October and will be for teams of four.

Your support through a donation of supplies to run the events and/or becoming a sponsor (see enclosed Sponsor Opportunity sheet) is greatly appreciated and will go a long way in helping us reach our fundraising goal and to raise awareness of the programs offered by the PCWH.
